Nicolas Henry

Nicolas specialises in Employment Law and Corporate Law while developing his practice in the global business sector. His expertise in Employment Law encompasses both individual and industrial relations. He is called upon to intervene during the process of negotiation and provides assistance before various employment-related institutions such as the Commission for Conciliation and Mediation (CCM), the Employment Relations Tribunal and the Industrial Court.

Nicolas regularly assists and advises companies of different size on mergers and acquisitions and in corporate structuring. He advises a range of companies spanning from a leading hotel group to major players in the construction and manufacturing sectors. He also routinely appears at all court levels predominantly in commercial and civil litigation.

He has also served as a director of the Gambling Regulatory Authority (GRA), established under the Gambling Regulatory Authority Act to regulate and control gambling activities in Mauritius.

Nicolas qualified from the Centre Régionale de Formation Professionnelle des Avocats de Versailles (France). His exposure to the French legal system has proven invaluable in matters relating to Civil Law.

He was called to the Bar of Mauritius in January 2009.
